- Annellet
- The small loops leading from quillions to the blade. Made to protect the finger wrapped over the guard.
- Haubergeon
- Hauberk ending between crotch and the middle of the wearer’s thigh. Has a sharp dagger-like hem.
- Pommel nut
- Also pommel bolt or tang nut. Capstan rivet sometimes included in pommels.
- Arming doublet
- Quilted garment worn under armour from the early fifteenth century, equipped with points to attach mail gussets and pieces of armour.
