The story takes place in 14th century Europe and concerns a family whose father has gone off to fight in the war. The ingenious and talented children must defend their fortress from an overly aggressive neighbor who would like nothing more than to claim their property as his own.
This is our third co-production with Czech TV. The project was shot with unique digital technology 4K Red Cam comparable with a classic 35mm film which ensures an extraordinary image depth and sharpness. For its high resolution capability, it is often called UHD or Ultra High Definition.
The seven-part TV series “Little Knights´Tale” as well as the film of the same title were produced by Czech Television in cooperation and coproduction with Three Brothers production. The film premiere was in August 2009.
