Short, fitted overcoat made of several thick fabric layers and a final layer which was usually from silk or velvet. Has an embroided coat of arms of the wearer.

- A staff weapon with a hammer-head balanced by a fluke, popular with Swiss infantry in both the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.

- A horizontal lamination in the breast or backplate at waist level.

- Sickle consisting of a tanged steel head fitted into a wooden handle; fighting style often utilizes two kamas, one in each hand.
